Shipping & Returns
Every MNCWOOD board is handmade to order in our small Polish workshop. This page explains how long your order takes to build, how shipping works, and what happens if something isn't right when it arrives.
📦 Production Time
Because every board is built by one pair of hands, we don't hold warehouse stock. Your board is made specifically for you after you place your order.
- Standard orders: dispatched within 3–5 business days
- Personalised / engraved orders: dispatched within 4–6 business days
- Custom orders (non-standard sizes or wood combinations): 2–4 weeks — we'll confirm the exact timeline before work begins
💡 During busy seasons (Christmas, Mother's Day, Father's Day, wedding season), production times may be slightly longer. We'll notify you if there's any delay.
🚚 Shipping Destinations & Costs
We ship across Europe, the UK, USA, and Canada. Shipping is tracked and insured.
🇵🇱 Poland
- Free shipping on all orders
- Delivery time: 1–3 business days after dispatch
🇪🇺 European Union
- Shipping cost calculated at checkout based on weight and destination
- Delivery time: 3–7 business days after dispatch
- No customs duties within EU
🇬🇧 United Kingdom
- Shipping cost calculated at checkout based on weight
- Delivery time: 5–10 business days after dispatch
- Import VAT and customs fees may apply and are the responsibility of the buyer
🇺🇸 USA & 🇨🇦 Canada
- Shipping cost calculated at checkout based on weight
- Delivery time: 7–14 business days after dispatch
- Import duties and customs fees may apply and are the responsibility of the buyer
- We use tracked, insured international carriers (DHL, FedEx, or equivalent)
📍 Tracking Your Order
Once your board ships, you'll receive an email with:
- Your tracking number
- A link to track your package in real time
- Estimated delivery date
If you don't receive your tracking email within 7 business days of placing your order, please check your spam folder or contact us.
💶 Customs, Duties & Import Taxes
Inside the EU
No customs, duties, or additional taxes. Prices shown include VAT.
Outside the EU (UK, USA, Canada)
International shipments may be subject to import duties, customs fees, and local sales tax (VAT, GST, etc.) charged by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the buyer and are collected by the carrier upon delivery.
We declare all parcels accurately and at full value — we cannot mark parcels as "gift" or under-value them. This is both illegal and risks losing your package insurance.

↩️ Returns Policy
We want you to love your board. If something isn't right, we'll make it right.
Standard Returns
- You have 14 days from the delivery date to request a return
- Boards must be unused and in original condition
- Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs
- Refund issued within 5–7 business days of receiving the returned board
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable (except for defective items)
🚫 Personalised / Engraved Boards
Laser-engraved boards are made-to-order with your specific text or design. For this reason, they are non-refundable unless damaged or defective.
Please double-check your engraving text carefully before placing your order — we engrave exactly what you provide, including any typos.
🛠️ Custom Orders
Custom boards (non-standard sizes, custom wood combinations, bulk orders) are non-refundable once production has begun, unless damaged or defective.
📸 Damaged in Transit?
If your board arrives damaged, we'll replace it at no cost. Here's what to do:
- Within 48 hours of delivery, email us at contact@mncwood.com
- Include photos of the damaged board and the packaging
- Include your order number
- We'll arrange a replacement or full refund — no back-and-forth, no hassle
Important: Please keep the original packaging until the claim is resolved. Carriers require photos of damaged packaging to process insurance claims.
🔄 How to Return a Board
To start a return:
- Email us at contact@mncwood.com with your order number and reason for return
- We'll send you return instructions and the correct return address
- Pack the board securely in its original packaging (or equivalent)
- Ship with a tracked carrier — we recommend insurance for the full value
- Once we receive and inspect the board, we'll issue your refund within 5–7 business days
Please do not return boards to our shipping address without contacting us first. This ensures your return reaches the right place and can be processed quickly.
💳 Refunds
- Refunds are issued to your original payment method
- Processing time: 5–7 business days after we receive the returned board
- Bank processing may take an additional 2–5 business days depending on your card issuer
- We'll email you a confirmation when the refund has been processed
🇪🇺 EU Consumer Rights
If you're a consumer located in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order under EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Personalised goods made to your specifications (engraved boards)
- Custom-made boards (non-standard sizes, custom wood combinations)
This is in accordance with Article 16(c) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive.
